Windshield tint is only allowed on the top 4 inches. In addition, tint on the windshield must be non-reflective.

Front Side Windows

In California, the front side windows must not increase the reflectance of the original windows.

The visible light transmission (VLT) of the front side windows must be at least 70%.

Back Side Windows

In California, the back side windows must not increase the reflectance of the original windows.

There are no restrictions on the visible light transmission (VLT) of the back side windows.

Rear Window

There are no restrictions on the visible light transmission (VLT) of the rear windows.
