Windshield tint is only allowed on the top 4 inches. In addition, tint on the windshield must be non-reflective.

Front Side Windows

In Michigan, the front side windows must have a reflectance of no more than 35%.

No tint is allowed on the front side windows

Back Side Windows

In Michigan, the back side windows must have a reflectance of no more than 35%.

There are no restrictions on the visible light transmission (VLT) of the back side windows.

Rear Window

There are no restrictions on the visible light transmission (VLT) of the rear windows.
