Windshield

Windshield tint is only allowed on the top 5 inches or up to the AS-1 line. In addition, tint on the windshield must be non-reflective.

Front Side Windows

In North Carolina, the front side windows must have a reflectance of no more than 20%.

The visible light transmission (VLT) of the front side windows must be at least 35%.

Back Side Windows

In North Carolina, the back side windows must have a reflectance of no more than 20%.

The visible light transmission (VLT) of the back side windows must be at least 35%.

Rear Window

The visible light transmission (VLT) of the rear windows must be at least 35%.
